SPF Water Engineering is seeking a highly motivated groundwater engineer to build a career in our 18-person water resource consulting firm.  This person will assist SPF’s groundwater engineering group, which includes two senior professionals who are licensed as both professional engineers and professional geologists.  Primary responsibilities will include water supply well design and permitting, well and aquifer testing, construction inspection, groundwater sampling, and assisting with water supply evaluations and water quality assessments.  Job duties will include field work, data analysis, engineering design, and report writing.  Candidates will have completed a B.S. degree in geological engineering, civil engineering, or related field with an emphasis in hydrogeology, and have completed or be working toward an M.S./M.E. degree.  E.I.T. or P.E. required.  We will consider an internship situation for the right entry-level candidate.  Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.  Practical experience, ArcGIS skills, and numerical modeling skills are a plus.
