SPF Water Engineering, LLC (SPF) is an Idaho-based water, wastewater, and hydrogeologic consulting firm.

Our staff of 12 licensed Professional Engineers, three licensed Geologists, and five water rights specialists focuses on providing clients with exceptional service and cost-effective solutions.

Many of our clients call on us repeatedly for all of their water resource needs, and we foster these long-term relationships by providing outstanding value, responsiveness on projects, and creative, cost-effective solutions.

Our core suite of services includes water supply studies,  well design and construction, water system engineering, wastewater system engineering, and aquifer modeling. Our staff also has more than 100 years of combined experience in water right consulting and water right processing, and have successfully submitted hundreds of water right applications and claims for our clients.

SPF (along with its predecessor firm, Scanlan Engineering) has provided water resource engineering and consulting services in Idaho since 1994.
